Hi Rudi,

Condit is my Congressman, hopefully for not too much longer. He is keeping up Democrat tradition in this district. His predecessor was Tony Cohello, the co-mgr of Algore's pres. campaign who resigned under pressure. That's how he left his seat in Congress, too. Under pressure. Great bunch, these California Demo's.

Carolyn, here is an update on my suppostions about Condit's successor. In my morning paper our State Senator, Republican Dick Montieth said he is going to run for Condit's seat whenever it becomes available. He is well-qualified and has the Hollywood idea of what a politician should look like. He should have a fairly good chance of beating any Condit substitute, including the State Assemblyman Dennis Cardoza I mentioned previously. There is still hope!
