Ah!... Unfortunately, it's been the name of the game all along... I suspect SI itself is predominantly run by Jewish folks so, every time a non-Jewish guy like you or I dare criticize Israel, Zionism or whatever questionable Israeli/Jewish tenet, BANG! the whole mob gang up on us... Their tactics doesn't involve fair, respectable arguing/discussion but relies exclusively on personal attacks, mudslinging, and innuendos... Eventually, the thread's Chief Justice Carolyn enters the discussion --to put the squeeze on the non-Jewish "ringer"... Get my drift?
