OT --- I heard those words repeatedly in the past and had many paid overtime work done as the electrical engineers kept on revising their circuits to have the perfect color. They used to play back tapes of the Parade of Roses ro help them solve the problem of changing colors in the video.

The longer they didn't solve their problem, the more I got Overtime work for the Board revisions. Similarly the more problems in Chip making arises the more work the Semi-equip makers have. Of course the Chip maker usually absorb the additional cost.

(Those days were fun. I felt a shudder while recalling the time the Frenchman Maurice Lemoine did his pioneering work in Digital Technology primarily in Video. I did only a few boards for him because he kept his work as secret as possible by using manually hard wired boards. I can't help but be proud that once upon a time, the earliest Digital signals passed thru my boards!)
