Energy gouging has little to do with supply and demand in this case. It was orchestrated with the help of Bush/Cheney/Powell's Arab friends who owed them big-time. The debt was called in to help hurt our economy and take that issue away from Gore. Also to greatly enrichen themselves at our expense.

The Bush tax cut? Much of that money will go to pay the higher energy prices which his people themselves foisted on us. Net gain - everything into the pockets of the Bush cronies, big negative for the American people. You are going to get very lonely defending Bush as time goes on. He really is the worst we've ever had. He's also basically just full of it no matter what he says.

And you talk about inefficient government as if it's a Democrat thing. Remember the S+L debacle? This time it's even bigger. EnergyGate is also costing our government many, many billions. Wake up!
