In today's excessively politically correct environment, I just love watching old movies on AMC. The cable company used to charge us an extra 50 cents per month to watch it, and it was worth more than ten times that much, but now they include it in the whole package. Watching and taping the old classic movies is one of my sideline hobbies. The Great Divide (1951) with Kirk Douglas, Virginia Mayo and Walter Brennen is one of my favorites. The sheriff from the old Bonanza TV series (Ray <Roy?> Teal) plays the part of Kirk's deputy who turns traitor....
