Well, after all my brave talk- I got a call yesterday from the church that I don't go to asking me to help direct the children's summer musical.
And I said yes.
ANd the whole time I was thinking- NO! DON"T DO IT, YOU FOOL!
BUt she was so nice and pathetic and needy.
I haven't had the nerve to tell Dan yet.
There's a reason, you know, that the leaders of these things all have little kids of their own. No one else wants to do it. They shouldn't be allowed to call old people. We are too weak. I MUST say no next year.
