You can bet that someday we will drill off the left coast.
The North Slope of Alaska will get a workover too.
If the econuts have their way, they will be the last proven reserves on the planet.
At the moment, oil is too cheap and gasoline too plentiful.
When gasoline is $5 a gallon and gas rationing a way of life, they will drill the North Slope.
In the big picture, this delay is good for the oil companies. The longer we wait, the more valuable those reserves become.
