TWY,

re: So.... just after a quarter in which by all accounts AMD gained more market share from Intel than in any quarter in their history, you claim that the Circuit City wide data base says the correct thing from their perspective to do is to reduce AMD's display exposure from 10 systems to 2. You can't be serious.

I don't know what the decision was based on, but the best guess is sales data.

re: And so far..... I think my version of the reality makes a lot more sense than yours.

Mr. Reality. If AMD loses shelf space, somehow the fix is in. It doesn't have anything to do with the consumer appeal of the systems the OEM's were offering. It doesn't have anything to do with sales data. It's the evil empire corrupting those poor folks at retail.

Remember the song by the band Traffic:

"Dear Mr. Fantasy,
Play us a tune,
Something, to make us all happy"

AMD theme song.

John
