Here is some food for thought.

Few months ago I was at Circuit City or Best Buy, don't remember, browsing the computer department, when a guy came to me and started extolling virtues of a P4 system. He was not wearing a salesperson uniform, so I asked him were did he get his information from. He became, a little uncomfortable and told me that there were 4 guys like him, on Intel's payroll who patrol the major Portland area retailers, mingle with customers and push P4 systems.

Do you think that Intel will stop at bribing purchase managers? There is nothing that a little get together at Palm Springs can't do.
