Wow! Those are pretty big leaps from a missing intern to manslaughter and/or serial killer. What ever happened to due process and habeas corpus? He could just be an innocent dork that backed into a corner by mistake and doesn't know how to get out. Maybe anything. But to hang him without more than gossip and media "facts" is a bit of a premature stretch.

I don't care for democrat politics and policies any more than anyone else here, but just because that is how they operate doesn't mean we have to match them stride for stride.

The police bungling in this case reminds me of the 1993 Park Police and Vince Foster's "suicide". At least they had a body to work with. It will be interesting to watch who does what if and when they find a body.

btw, The Repub that ran against Condit last time announced today he is filing for the 2002 Primary election 7 months from now. And there is a State Senator Repub from here also interested in the seat. Could be a lot of fun in this district until primary in the spring and again for the general election in the fall.

I think I will take Carolyn's suggestion and volunteer to work with the Repub Party. I think it may be 40 or more yrs since a Repub held this Congressional seat We'll see if we can win one for the Gipper - yes that Gipper.
