These misc costs are annoyingly expensive.

Do you know the current costs for the regulatory tests in Europe these days?

(Side note, I recall one regulatory standard that prevented Intel from selling product into France, and there was no technical nor safety reason for the regulatory standard, it appeared to be a purely politically motivated addition to the standards as it enabled Intel to be blocked for a bit, while a local Fr company established itself.)
