I think the possibility of capukulation has increased. With the NAZ closing yesterday @ 1963, theoretically everything bought since 4/18 is now at a loss. This combined with last years stock market debacle and the weakening economy will put pressure on people with mutual funds to get out. If 2nd quarter guidance is poor we may get the weakness required to incur some panic selling. If this happens, it will put enormous pressure on Bush-Greenspan to pull the economy out of a potentially nasty recession. All this is my opinion only. Time will tell.
