Does anyone have a resource for how many listed stocks throughout US history have actually ceased to exist?

I do not want to include stocks that no longer trade because they are part of another company (ie MCI = WorldCom)

My father showed me a 1968 stock certificate of seggos industries (i can find no information on them as I am sure they are long gone......E trade also said they have no information on the company)

Also if a company is still trading in the 'pink sheets' does it qualify as still in existense? (ie My first rookie, gosh this is so easy even I can make money, mistake was buying IDID after a news story that there fingerprinting tech was going to be used by MasterCard.....stock jumped from .01 to a $1.50 then was halted for 6 months and reponed at .001 give or take half penny : )

It still trades, so would this be considered a stock 'still in existence'?
