Jerome, Markets turn up on anticpation of business rebounds. Business rebounds can be as surprising in their timing and strength as business contractions. I am not predicting anything anymore, just pointing out what could happen, particularly when all news is so bearish. Joe Beltran points out correctly that only during the depression did the markets ignore the stimulus we are currently getting. I don't think things are that severe (yet). I hope they dont go in that direction. mike
