Chris,

Understand your concern regarding ATML and it's volatility. It can sure whip around awfully fast. I know that a lot of people on the ATML thread like the volatility as it allows them to have a good time with options.

For me (as stated), I am in for the long haul. They are a very well managed company who are trying to target the value added side of a commodity business. ATML adjusted earning expectations last quarter due to same themes everyone else was using (slow Europe sales, weak dollar, etc...). They have also been pinched with capacity constraints but their new plant in France is ramping up. Stock was slammed by the tech sell-off and has been a bit weak lately with chip environment. Now that the dollar is settling down a bit, business appears to be picking, and management cost control appears to be pretty good, I am hopeful for a good earnings report. MUs positive announcement yesterday should also help.

FWIW, Karl
