You think bears are born not made? Scratch a bear and you will find someone who got screwed going long on some company's stock that they believed in.

Truth is most companies fail over time and a large percentage that don't fail don't do well enough to give you a decent return. That leaves a very small percentage that actually pay off. What amazes me is that people keep trying to build companies even with those odds.
