Jealous of Clinton? Why? What does he have now? He is operating in a world he loves and which I despise. People are wanting to meet him because he was President, not because he is Bill Clinton. They are wanting to meet the Ex-POTUS not Bill Clinton, citizen. They want to meet the scandal meister, the draft dodging president. They do not care about him. He is very popular on NY party circles now. Entertainment. On-display. Jealous of that? No way. He is meeting the handful of people that actually think he is still interesting.

Clinton inherited alot from Reagan-Bush years, rode the wave with feel good speeches, presided over an unprecedented tech explosion, was smart enough to keep his hands off that, drug wars and gangs within the US borders were settling down so the violence was way down. Racial harmony, no way. Not as I recall.

Clinton did alot of things right. However, he stood there on global televsion and lied to the world in response to a direct question. No spin no BS. He lied, pushed an asinine cover story down everyones throats and would have gotten away with it, except Monica managed to get him to complete an act and saved the evidence. He knew he was caught and that is the only reason he admitted to anything.

He is an elitist pure and simple and has a differing opinion of the direction of the US in the future than I do. I think his view is not in America's interest. I am glad he is gone.

You credit him with lots of things that were not in his control. Just like you are assigning Bush responsibility for CA hardships with electrical power, you are giving credit to Clinton for everything good. Corruption ran rampant under Clinton, not only Bush.

I think you need to step back and actually evaluate Clinton and Bush objectively. As I said, I am not a blind follower of either. I do not think Bush is the devil incarnate as you people do.
