Well, I'm not sure people really want to hear stock talk here, or whether a sauna is more appropriate as an escape from same. But then, you're the threadmeister, so your view has lots of weight.

I'm not a true contrarian, but I do observe that most investors buy when things are going well (i.e. prices are high) and sell and stay out when things look bad (i.e. prices are low). Which is precisely the contrary to the way we all say to make money, which is buy low and sell high. But how can you buy low when you shun a low market?? Doesn't make sense to me, unless you believe our economy will stay tanked for the next five years, which I don't think it will.

There's no hurry -- I think we'll have a bargain basement market for a few months yet. I'm at present scouting all the jumble tables and sale bins looking for the best goodies I can find. I'm don't much like making actual stock predictions, at least until I've finished all my DD on a bunch of stocks I'm looking over, but already I've identified a whole bunch of potential bargains I want to put under the microscope.

It's a good time to have some cash floating around!
