I am not aware of standard portal product offerings that include this type of functionality. EIP's do serve to consolidate access to enterprise applications, and could certainly provide a standardized interface for accessing audio/visual information. I would recommending looking into IFMX/ASCL's product (Media360?) for multimedia database management. Sorry, but I cannot provide much insight into the multimedia field.
