It's a little absurd to think they'll feel pressured to convert.

I agree, they wouldn't feel pressured to convert. But they might feel left out, disrespected, alienated, like second class citizens. The other kids might make fun of them. Or they may feel too uncomfortable to attend the football game, missing out on that experience of school spirit and community building. All so that the majority can engage in a traditional activity that has nothing to do with the football game (Notre Dame statues notwithstanding). Imagine trying to explain to your kid that his Muslim religion is cool when he can't even go to a football game without getting the message that, of course, Americans are Christians. It's so important to kids to fit in. No, the "other" children don't have to attend the football game. They don't have to live in Oklahoma, either. The message is that they're not welcome.

How is it state supported prayer when a person who is not an agent of the state is leading the prayer?

It is a state supported prayer when it is a part of the program of a state supported event. The person who leads the prayer is irrelevant.

I could be convinced of the acceptability of a prayer at a pregame pep rally on the campus back 40 or side lawn, but not in the stadium as part of the game event.
