I'm not sure what these guys writing these editos are frothing at the mouth for, it's no big deal to have a hands free kit, I even prefer it when driving anyhow.

It's the lack of logic. Cell phones have been singled out even though studies have shown that there is a long list of things that distract drivers and cause as many or more accidents. As the author of that article pointed out, it would make as much sense to ban eating hotdogs. It's a stupid law.
