People have to keep their minds on the job. It's not their hands which are the problem. It's their lack of mental focus. A lot of people when talking on the phone or talking to a passenger or gawping at an accident on the other side of the road or checking the legs on that babe or adjusting the radio or looking in the mirror or reading a few notes, or lighting a cigarette, or eating a sandwich lose their concentration on the most important job and crash. Handsfree phones won't make any difference to the accident rate caused by cellphones. The law, here anyway, is to drive with due care and attention. Simple really. It's also obvious. Mqurice
