Susan,
Last I heard from Carl, he was running a Chipmunk farm in the Rockies. They're a bear delicacy, so business is great! -g-
Too bad Carl's not around to rap with on this huge ED. Looks like we might have finished A of 3 at today's lows, with a B of 3 bounce to sit through now. Could be an expanded flat wave B so we may get lower lows still yet over the next couple days before another rally attempt (c of B)that retests 2000 or so to finish off wave B of 3. C of 3 should/could be a doozy! -g-
Thanks for your feedback on that prior long term count I posted near the first of the year. You were right on, and early in the year, I adjusted long term counts to show Grand Supercycle 1 finishing at 1929's highs, Grand S.S. 2 finishing at 1947's lows, and we're still in Grand S.S. 3. Wave 1 of 3 finished at 1966's highs, 2 of 3 at 1982's lows, and 3 of 3 at Sep. 2000's highs. We've been in 4 of 3 since, and are still in the A portion of 4, but in the 5th wave of A now, said 5th which began from the late May highs. Within that 5th wave, we're now in the 5th wave, so the end of the move down is close wave wise, but this 5 of 5 could extend and be quite deep & grueling, limited of course to 6 times the size of wave 3 of 5 (which was roughly 83 points on the spx).
So long term, the bulls still have a 5 of 3 rally to finish the 5 wave set off 1947's lows, and of course the Grand Supercycle wave 5 rally to complete the 5 wave set that began from our country's beginnings. Cheify might just make a comeback, but his recognition wave 3 of 3 of 3 has already passed, ocurring 4/14/97-8/7/97. |
