If you can see that far in the future and are right you will make millions now. But I haven't heard any analyst on Wall Street who doesn't predict some sort of recovery sooner than that except maybe for fibre optic cable and when the recovery comes it should be sudden and dramatic. Maybe you read the Prudent Bear report, I don't know. Do a search for "summer rally" and see the logic there. Don't ask me, I'm just a small amateur investor. Not a bad day considering all this doom and gloom though. Listening to you and the other bears I was expecting something nasty. I particularly like IBM holding 100 and MSFT going up. Those are the new leaders. Follow the leaders. They may not go far but anything from here could make for some fast profits. Unless the market interprets YHOO and MOT narrowly beating as a negative I say we go up tomorrow, above 2000 and we might even stay there. EMC has also held 20 and is worth at least 25-30 IMHO. NOK was oversold today and bounced back at the end. Another worth 25 or so. Very cheap considering cell phone use is still predicted to grow in coming years as 90% of Generation Y'ers are expected to own cell phones and yack plenty. MOT should also benefit. At least as longer term plays these have all got to be buys now. We do have major sluggishness still though and some major problems in and around The White House which concern me deeply. Weak leadership in the markets and politically doesn't exactly make people want to get out and buy.
