How much is "political" science? Are they giving adequate weight to the fact that the earth has been warming ever since the last ice age? And that they're only looking at a small slice in time? Kind of like looking at the stock market over the past 18 months and trying to extrapolate years, maybe decades, or even hundreds of years in either direction? Why and how are those "scientists" so much more accurate than all the stock analysts we follow daily?

How about the fact that something "big" could occur again to create another ice age? e.g. a world-wide cloud created by a volcanic eruption or impact of an object from space like the one that killed the dinosaurs?

Perhaps they would like to see a massive war, or starvation to reduce the "...human activity [is] having a discernible effect on the environment, ..."?

Just a few of many things to consider...
