Ibexx, It usually only dawns on analysts after the fact that Microsoft's incursion into market segments such as this one usually has some combination of the following effects: - reducing competitor's unit prices and profit margins - increasing competitor's R&D requirements to stay competitive - reducing competitor's growth rates - increasing the commoditization of the applications base - increasing the pressure for common hardware platforms It will be interesting to see the effects of the new version of NT. I would not want to be a strategic planner at Sun over the next few years. Best regards, Arno
