I need help...old Windows 95 problem My daughter dropped off her entire computer at my house tonight and said please fix it..ya right. First of all it wouldn't even load windows. Tried running my Norton utilities from CD and wouldn't even do that. So I put in the system disk and reloaded Win 95. I can now get Windows to load but that's about it. Won't run any programs. I loaded Norton unto the hard drive and the can only run Virus Scan...checked out ok. My question is: I don't think I got a good reload of Win 95 because it kept telling me that some files were newer than the ones to be replaced. I also think I have some registry and .ini problems. Can I delete Windows 95 from the hard drive and then reload Win 95 from the CD that came with her computer. I don't want to do a format of the hard drive because my son-in-law has a lot of files he needs to keep. This is a Gateway P5-100 running Win 95. I went from Win 3.1 to Win 98 so am not as up to speed on Win 95 as some of you were. Thanks in advance. H Peterson
