-OT- If you knock over your computer, the hard drives are the ones that are in danger.. I'd do a sector scan on all of them, and pray that your data is safe.
Yeah, it gives new meaning to the term Technical Analysis. What's really cool is that when I did a defrag (after 2+ days of Scandisk), the pattern of the bad clusters was clear and clearly repetitive.Almost as if you could track how fast the drive was turning as the head bounced across it. Blech.
Amazingly, my data appears to be intact. A couple of easily replaced items, so far. My favorite workspace in Qcharts, for example. But it bounced right through W98, and is playing hob with my .DLL recognition/access. Ah well, if not for this I might have to do some real work.
