Sam - While my son, Mark was so ill, God sent me clients to talk to and work with. As I had a duplicate office in my home just a few feet from his bedroom, I was able to prepare my work. Bluefish, his brother, would come and care for Mark while I had to meet my clients. Sales would suddenly come forth at just the right time to meet my immediate financial needs. I would be scraping the bottom of the barrel, but God was just about to fill it back up to meet my basic needs. Not more than enough, but just enough. It was as if God had become my personal accountant.
Then my business took a slow down, but it was just about the time that my son needed me 24 hours a day. Just a few days after he went to Heaven, I got a call from a client saying that they had found a new home and that they had registered me as their agent and I was to receive the commission as well as list their home. "Praise God" was all that I could say after getting off the phone with them.
As I prepared for my broker's exam some 20 years ago, I ask God if this is where he wanted me. Seconds later, His Presence filled my study and intensified until the Power was so overwhelming that I finally asked Him to take it away as it was more than a mortal could experience. My mind cleared up and as I saw each page of my studies, it would supernaturally zip into my brain. The exam was a snap as all I had to do was hold the pencil and mark the correct answers.
Please know that God is more than interested in your work future and He is preparing pathways for you to be in the direction He desires. Do not question His career for your future as that was established before your birth. How futile our human concepts are and how powerful HIS choices are for us and our service in His Kingdom!!!
