Thought I would post a postal problem I encountered.

Mailed some photographs in a 9x12 envelope to my brother in another city. When he didn't receive them after more than a week, I mailed another set. A day later I received in the mail the original mailing with a sticker attached that stated ....

NO FORWARD ORDER ON FILE
UNABLE TO FORWARD
RETURN TO SENDER

The address I used is correct, and my brother has lived there for three years. He promptly received the second mailing. The postage was only 76 cents (why isn't there a "cent" symbol on keyboards?) and the photos were Kinko cheapos, so it's not worth standing at line at the post office to attempt to recover the cost of the duplicate postage and reprints of the photos.

Any ideas on what could have happened with this delivery failure?
