The universe that Microsoft serves is the same universe that ADSL and is various evolutions serve. The consumer retail and commercial business mkts, are a huge universe that is moving forward in its demand for broadband.

My hope is that the faster up load speed of ADSL will give it preference, over cable in more advanced interactive systems, going forward.

Microsofts X Box is the beginning of more advanced retail interactive demand. Visualize this WI-FI wireless systems in the home running over your existing ADSL pipe on an upgrade to your WSTL modem, so you can play Microsoft broadband games wirelessly, through out the house and yard.

Or for that matter use your notebook on the Web wirelessly around the house as an upgrade to your WSTL modem.

By partnering with an existing wireless co they could put the WSTL label on the wireless device and share profits according to what makes sense. WSTL would be giving a company access to many customers.

Picking a partner with vision and know how, would be key.
