Well, as the famous philosopher Beavis once said, "We hate change!"

But really, change for the sake of novelty isn't a healthy thing, either. Then there are those who want to tear down traditions simply because they hate them. They haven't a clue what to replace them with.

We are where we are today thanks to the efforts of our predecessors. I don't think we should blithely cast aside their customs and traditions. Like Russell Kirk said, "We are pygmies standing on the shoulders of giants."
