Phase 2 residential ppt of Cyberport defered

(Infocast News) Information Technology and Broadcasting Bureau said that 54 applications for leasing the office space of Cyberport have been recieved up to the end of June. The floor area asked totals 840,000 square feet, representing approximately 88% of the total office space of Cyberport. Owing to the good response, the Bureau decided to postpone the construction of the second phase of the residential properties, 27 premise involved.

The Bureau added that a total of 24 rental applications have been received for the first phase of the office building which is to be completed in the first quarter of next year, asking for a GFA of 215,000 square feet, exceeding the rentable area by 20,000 square feet.
