I suspect that the buyer is a pro hedging a large position and that the seller is a pro betting that they would expire worthless. My guess is that they both will consider themselves winners if it continues going up. I think that MSFT needs to break out of its current pattern though. If I owned it, I would be getting nervous as it approached $79ish.
