Sorry for the overly gruff response. This trip has put me into a funk. I have tremendous respect for the ability of the U.S. and its citizens to deal with adversity but very few folk seem to recognize just how ugly the current circumstances are and what the implications of a continuation of same are likely to be. The impact of this spiral will be much worse than it ought to be as a result of so few being aware of its nature or proximity.
