Earlie, see my earlier post quantifying the various areas of US credit growth since '98...the numbers are absolutely breath-taking, and have no relation whatsoever with underlying economic growth. it takes more and more fresh credit to keep the game afloat, i.e. the new liquidity additions become less and less effective. in all probability the point where the liquidity trap mechanics begin to be in force has already been passed.
