Re: TMTA prospects

A TMTA bankruptcy is highly unlikely. The real question is whether they can survive as an independent company or will be taken over. TMTA has promising technology and was fortunate to IPO last year so they have decent cash reserves, but they are competing in a very difficult space during the worst semiconductor slump in more than a decade.

I'm not convinced that TMTA doesn't face more downside pressure for a while, but as a speculation it is starting to look interesting. Obviously they now have to deal with a flurry of nuisance lawsuits from the usual assortment of parasites, but I don't expect this to amount to much more than another bump in the road. Of greater concern is TMTA's ability to continue to execute their product roadmap and capitalize on their structural design advantages over traditional microprocessor architectures. It is this uncertainty more than anything else which should temper investor enthusiasm at this point.
