I guess your headache has faded by now. I hope so. For next time couldn't you get a trial Rx for butalbital (that's generic for Fiorinal, and just as good) and, if that's not enough, butalbital with codeine? Did we talk about that? The also make Fiorinal as Fioricet, it's the same thing only with acetaminaphen instead of aspirin, and it doesn't work as well (my doctor says that others say the same thing.)

Does Vicodin have any caffeine in it? Could a person with heart trouble take it, do you know? I ask because a migraine-afflicted friend from SI mentioned that he can't take Imitrex.

As a side thought: I once posted that i'd read a study, in the NYT I believe, some time ago to the effect that if you take lecithin along with aspirin, the aspirin doesn't cause a GI bleed. So now I always take aspirin or aspirin-containing drugs like fiorinal along with lecithin. (If I'm home.) Another SI person did a search and found the info on the net, and reported that it was a study done at Duke. I wonder why everyone isn't taking lecithin with aspirin now. The article mentioned that aspirin manufacturers were trying to think of a way to combine aspirin and lecithin. Doesn't sound all that hard.
