Moufassa, yes this was a burst rally, like I've been warning about happening in early July. . .Sudden mass short-covers [on news (MSFT)] + Short-squeezes [shorts running for exits] + Longs piling on bandwagon [herd effect] + Media pumping up the hype machine ["don't miss big rally"] ________________________________________ = Burst rally [by definition] The summer rally traditionally is very short. . .but this one might well hold the record as the shortest of them all. . . . 2 days. It appears to me that today's high will be the high of the next week. And we will be stuck between 1950 and 2100 for the latter half of summer. . . beginning Monday, July 16 [probably late morning], we'll begin the TIGHT TRADING RANGE I keep talking about.
