It's been fun. At the 6 month mark I was in contention for the lead but my account has faded a bit recently. When I set up that portfolio my strategy was to put the most $$$ in the large-cap CHIR where it was generally stable and might have a good year. Then I added BPUR and GENE for some home run hitting if they get their chance at bat.

As it has turned out, CHIR has been the laggard of the group for the first 6 months on a percentage basis. Still, it's a long way to the end of the contest. I still don't know if it will be the base or home run hitters that will give the portfolio its final position. Lots of fun and everyone wins in that there's a charity that receives our "bets."
