seeing as how much help I was with the mem problem these words will be feeble .....gggg

don't care what other folks say bout CPQ ..
when you catch one on sale, and that isn't hard to do ...
I think it is an excellent choice for someone who isn't going to be fiddling with the inner guts ...

and that is the catagory into which you most likely fall .... <sad smile> ...

If the 256meg stick hasn't been damaged *( as I assume you pulled it with power on) it will most likely fit into whatever model of CPQ you get.

Guessing again, I assume you're going into a local store and buy a CPQ ... take the mem chip with you and see if it is the kind that the new box will take ....
