I've only been to one small town high school football game, and I got there late, so I don't know if a prayer was said. The home team had the curious (for the bible belt) nickname the Golden Demons. I don't think anyone is running roughshod. That sounds brutal. Maybe it's more a case of hypersensitivity on the other side. Sometimes we just have to suck it up and move on.
