Hey don't take it personally ....though I meant to edit
that post because it sounded so .

I was just linking to you because it was related
to the general subject of rape & "woman killing."
The murder and beating of woman in these countries.

However and wherever it takes place , this is an injustice
whether there is Justice or not . The Koran seems somewhat
helpless before the older tribal pressures and
customs ...and duty of maintaining the
families honor that dictates the cold -blooded
sacrificing of these young women.

The increasing "awareness" part , was taken right from the article
itself , what even the Royals of Jordan are supposed
to be doing to make people see this is not from the teachings of
the Koran . The more you raise awareness
the less Justice and laws you have to make and dispense
I would suppose .

As for the remark of Bill Clinton , if he was a leader
in one of these countries today , you would have never heard
of Monica Lewinsky ....free liberal press or not.

She would have been executed
summarily at the hands of some
secret guard, and her body would
never have been found .

No crime ...no indignity...no impeachment...no court...no injustice.

PS: ----->READ the article , Joe...They gave that murderer only 6months! He felt he shouldn't have served
a day. This is Jordan , a modern Islamic country.
