Some remarkable theories there, I withhold acceptance of them at least for the moment. There are some great gaps in the record and a lot of the evidence is inferred rather than direct (to say the least).
If the one author is correct though, Akhenaten, a distorted product of considerable inbreeding would be one of the most seminal people in history. The origins of the religions of Jews, Christians, and Muslims could be traced back direct to him, a sun worshipper. As I said though I see quite a reach and am more than a little skeptical.
Of considerable interest to me was the lack of mention from outside sources of any Hebrew kingdom(s). The adjacent kingdoms don't mention anything of the sort. No one is fighting with it, trading with it, making alliances, sending daughters or sons to marry with the rulers, in short nothing. It is as if to them it doesn't exist. That brings up a whole bunch of questions. Where were and just how big were the realms of David and Solomon?
