Here are my thoughts for the upcoming season:

1)I don't think Grant Noel has what it takes to be our starting QB. His arm strength isn't there for Bustle's long bombs and his mobility is limited. My prediction : For the first team in the Beamer era, a true freshman will start at QB.

I think that it will be Bryan Randall - the first player in virginia high school history to both pass for 1000 yards and run for 1000 yards in the same season. My dark horse is Chris Clifton, a 6-5 guy who was originally recruited as a receiver, but had a great senior season of high school as a QB.

Our early season schedule is tailor-made to break in a young inexperienced QB.

2)I think that a couple of other true freshman will get significant playing time: Kevin Jones - running back and DeAngelo Hall - defensive back.

3)Our biggest question mark other than the QB is the offensive line. A bunch of new starters and new backups. We need some holes for Lee Suggs et al to run through.

4)Our D should be awesome. Probably not as good as the 99 D, but close.

5)I think that one game (other than Miami) that will be tough is away at Pitt. They seem to always have our number.
