Because Terence is right. While some some churches attacked slavery with commendable zeal, others just as staunchly defended it.

Ever wonder were the Southern Baptist denomination came from? They seceded from the Baptist Church- -over the issue of slavery.

If this is the freedom you wish to promote, you're welcome to it. I will have none of it.
