Is anybody here a paid subscriber to the Wall Street Journal online edition? Spate of Write-Offs Calls Into Question Lofty 1990s Profits interactive.wsj.com Could well be relevant to our discussion of questionable MSFT earnings figures over the past few quarters (sorry, ex-accountant, should that be "earnings reports figures?" "quarterly results?" or does that really matter?). Can anybody with access peek at that article and maybe summarize it? Dave
