I don't necessarily mean to vent on you, but that story, and every story like it, is crap. I don't use the word perjoratively, but this group favors socialism (at least in the medical realm).

Unfortunately, the capitalist engine that drove the USA to it's current "world leader" position is under daily attack. How often do we hear people complaining about executive compensation, energy generators in Texas, big drug companies, big auto companies, etc.

The business of America is business (does anyone remember learning that in high school? I wonder why not!)

If anyone in "Families USA" can research, develop, and market life saving drugs, and then charge less than current companies, I urge them to do it. The problem is, they will have no investors, hence no capital, hence no business.

THE TIME FOR EXECUTIVES TO APOLOGIZE OR FEEL GUILTY FOR MAKING MONEY MUST PASS!!!

What does "Families USA" do to develop new treatments, to provide hope for sufferers of terrible diseases, how many people does "Families USA" employ, how many "Families USA" salaries provide children with money to go to college, how much does "Families USA" put into 401(k) accounts?

They are an excellent example of what Theodore Roosevelt referred to as "those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat"

 There. I feel better.

Fair disclosure: I am not a fat cat executive. In fact, I just got laid off by a biotech company. Yet, I still believe that capitalism is the answer to our problems today.
