Yet, I posted the story on drug companies to stimulate a little debate and discussion....I am familiar with the field since I used to work in sales and marketing for Merck and a start-up they developed called Astra Merck. After graduate school I transitioned into the media arena and recently I have been working for some young software firms. I am aware of all the drug company arguments to justify the cost of their products. Yet, I am still frustrated that such a wealthy and successful country like the U.S. can have tens of millions of people who still can't afford healthcare coverage....Something's terribly wrong with the system...JMHO.
