Glenn, why don't you do banner ads? Blue Nile is all over the Internet. Have you priced them? I'm clueless to what they would cost. James, I did do banner adds on the hope pages of the local ISPs. The click through rate is small and the buy rate is even worse. The cost around here is about $700 per 25,000 impressions. I personally consider them a waste. Blue Nile has a profit problem. They are bleeding cash like crazy. I still do not believe Blue Nile was ever started to turn a profit. The plan was to go publich with growing revenue but the market sentiment changed that plan. I believe KP is just waiting for the right time again to take it public and sell out.
